Education

To educate our members, allies, and community on LGBTQ+ issues, PFLAG Greeley 

• invites speakers to our meetings to present information about LGBTQ+ resources, topics, and issues.

• screens LGBTQ+ films/documentaries and hosts discussions following the films.

• has a lending library of books on LGBTQ+ topics and issues that is available at each meeting.

• includes informational posts on our Facebook page.

• provides information about LGBTQ+ issues and events to the local news media.

• provides information about LGBTQ+ issues to businesses, schools, public agencies, and churches.

• supplies speakers for groups or events.

• distributes LGBTQ+ informational materials at public events.

 

To schedule a speaker from PFLAG Greeley or to request that PFLAG Greeley host a table at an event, send an email to pflaggreeley@gmail.org with the organization’s full name, a contact person’s name, a phone number, and the date, time, and location of the event.  If you are requesting a speaker, please tell us a little bit about your organization, the approximate number of people who will attend, and what topic you would like the presenter to speak on.
